Harley 2 year old male Harley came to us as an owner surrender. He required knee surgery for a congenital luxating patella that his owner could not afford. While his knee wasn't good his hips are fine. Harley had his surgery in April, and has completed his recovery time. Harley is on a glucosamine supplement to keep the knee joint lubricated. Harley is a lean, lanky blond boy who gets along with everything, and everybody, cats, kids and other dogs. Harley is house-broken, knows basic obedience, walks okay on a leash and always comes when called. He is crate trained, although he does not need to be crated as his house manners are excellent. He chews only his bones and kongs, and shares nicely with his foster dogs. Harley is a dog that goes with the flow, while he loves to play; when the household is calm, Harley is calm. Harley is very patient with grooming tasks and has a sleeker easily managed coat. Harley is a happy dog, with a sweet gentle nature who would make a great family dog. Scooby, 7 year old male Scooby is a lovable, energetic, 7-year old Golden boy. He enjoys walks, mealtime, chewing on dog bones and lots of attention. Scooby came to GRRRR with his brother, Cody. Both were malnourished and kept in a basement without toys, much food/water or human contact. But, Scooby did not lose his Golden spirit! Scooby plays well with his bones and toys and loves being outside watching the squirrels and rabbits and running around with his foster brother. Scooby was a little possessive with stuffed toys when he first came to us, but appears to have outgrown that behavior. He enjoys emptying the bone/toy basket every evening - trying out every bone or toy until he finds the right one to chew on! He is crate trained, but also does well not being crated while we are out and left alone with his foster brother. Scooby gets along well with his foster brother and enjoys greeting other dogs on his walks. Scooby is a tall boy and would do well in a house with older children and as an only dog in the household. He sits well and is learning wait, stay and down, but an obedience class or two would be great for him and his new forever family. Please contact Holly or Ken if you are interested in making Scooby a part of your family! Email: hschaefer@everestkc.net or 913-254-7962
