Sadie Mae, adopted by Sharon and Brandon Burns

Sadie Mae is a sweet light golden girl who had suffered for over a year from an undiagnosed skin condition which caused considerable hair loss and scarring.  Finally, the condition was diagnosed as demodectic mange.  We were afraid that no one would want to adopt her, knowing that her treatments could take as much as 6 months.  We were wrong!!  A wonderful couple in Kansas City saw through the surface to her golden heart and fell in love with her.   A most deserving sweet-hearted golden hit the jackpot!  Now, after lots of loving care, she looks like the beautiful golden girl she always was inside!
